Westminster women's soccer is set to face host and No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament Washington University in St. Louis in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
The match is set for 5 p.m. Saturday at Wash U. The Bears are a perfect 17-0 on the year, one of two undefeated teams in the NCAA, and the Blue Jays hope to hand the squad its first loss of the season.
The winner will go on to face the winner of Mt. St. Joseph and Illinois Wesleyan Sunday at 6 p.m., also hosted by Wash U.
The match will be played at Francis Field, which was home to the 1904 Olympics. Tickets will be $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for students, children and seniors, and kids under 2 are free. Gates will open one hour before kickoff.
The Blue Jays advanced to the tournament after earning an automatic bid, winning the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in double overtime over Greenville last Friday.
