Men's Cross Country Takes 5th At SLIAC Championship

The Westminster men's cross country team placed 5th at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Championship. The Westminster Blue Jays averaged a time of 28:22.07 for the 8K.

Junior Jesse Edwards finished first for the Blue Jays, crossing the finish line in 7th place with a time of 27:02.42. Senior Daniel Lindaman crossed shortly after with a 13th place finish and a time of 27:40.32.

Freshman Glenn Teubner placed 22nd with a time of 28:14.57. The 29:04.62 time earned freshman Nathan Wilson a 31st place finish and 28 points to the final team score. Junior Nathan Fox placed 36th with a time of 29:48.41, adding 30 points to the final team score.

Freshman Chandler Yeary and senior Spencer Woodford rounded out the Blue Jay team with a 57th and a 62nd place finish, respectively.

The Blue Jays will head to the NCAA Regional in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on November 15.
