FULTON, Mo. - Westminster football is set to play four home games in the 2018 season on a brand new turf field.
The turf field is phase one of a four million dollar gift for a new stadium from alum Kent Mueller and his wife, Judith.
Before the home-opener, Westminster travels to Avila Aug. 25 for a scrimmage before opening up the regular season at Millsaps in Jackson, Miss., on Sept. 8.
The Blue Jays return home Sept. 15 for the first Upper Midwest Athletic Conference game of the year against Iowa Wesleyan. A season ago, the Blue Jays topped the Tigers in overtime for the final game of the year.
The following weekend, Sept. 22, features a matchup in Duluth, Minn., where Westminster takes on St. Scholastica.
Westminster's second home game of the year features a matchup between the Blue Jays and the Panthers of Greenville on Sept. 29.
The Blue Jays open October with back-to-back away trips on Oct. 6 at MacMurray and Oct. 13 at Martin Luther.
Homecoming is set for Oct. 20 when the Blue Jays take on Minnesota-Morris.
The final road game of the year is Oct. 27 in St. Bonafacius, Minn., against Crown.
The final home game of the year is Nov. 3 against Northwestern (Minn.).
