Ryan Clavin continues to earn postseason awards, collecting a spot on the America Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-Central Region first team.
Clavin is one of six players in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to land a spot on the All-Central first team, including two players from Webster and two from Spalding.
Clavin was named the Newcomer of the Year in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference as a utility player. He appeared in 33 games and recorded a .336 batting average. He led the Blue Jays in home runs this season with eight, which was also tied for first in the SLIAC, and was second on the team in hits (41) and RBI (34). He also appeared in 12 games as a pitcher, starting in four, and pitching his way to a record of 5-3. Of his four starts, two of them were complete games. Clavin was second on the team in ERA at 4.46.
